My two favorite chars-we-most-likely-see-never-again.And they had both such nice designs...shame.
Since it came to my mind that not everybody is aware of it: These are characters from the More Than Meets The Eyes comics.

I nearly had a heart attack when I found out who the second guy was. It went something like: "HOLY EVERLOVING SHIT!" *hyperventilate* *squeak* *stare suspiciously at iPad*, then back out of the room and run off to calm down a little before tackling #12.
I think I terrified my sister a little with my reaction.

Totally understand that. Sadly it was spoilered for me already before I even started to read MTMTE, but it was still stunning.

Yeah well, since he got a complete makeover it is not really the same char anymore.
At least in my eyes, same goes for Megatron and Galvatron (I have no idea if Galvatron is an extra char in the IDW universe, but I mean in G1). Galvatron used to be Megs, but I don't think they are the same char...if that makes sense xD

Yeah that was a let-down indeed, but lets hope so that there will be more of this "looking back at the past" things in future tf comics, where he will have a chance at re-appearing as a senator.

Yes, he does it once in MTMTE but since Prowl is in the maincast of the RiD comics (the parallel going story to MTMTE) he damages much more furniture in there :'D

They appear in the MTMTE comic series which is still ongoing right now.
I can highly recomment both "More Than Meets The Eye" and "Robots in Disguise".
MTMTE is full of cruel mysteries but lots of humor.
RiD is about the situation on Cybertron after the war is over, so you can figure it is rather dark and sad, still pretty awesome.
These two here were "one story chars" sadly, means they appeared in one story and that's it.
