Well, I haven't any strong story behind these characters when doing this thing, but I have a strong influense of Arcady and Boris Strugatsky book series called "World of noon". The future where you want to live, you know.

Nice image. The title seems obscure though? Esthetically it could almost be titled "Picnic at Noon", but then I am somewhat whimsical at times.

До меня дошло что же мне напоминают твои sci-fi иллюстрации, особенно "мирные" вроде этой. Советскую фантастику, особенно Стругацких, полдень XXI век это все. Ни дать ни взять - прогрессоры на необитаемой планете. Наверное визуальный стереотип - как-то представлялось что в будущем все люди будут такие, стройные парни и белокурые девушки.
P.S. Вспомнил с чем еще - sf Лема. Непобедимый, Эдем, Солярис.

Ну эта, вот конкретно эта пикча навеяна как раз ими, это в точку. Хотелось передать ту теплоламповость, которая есть в ранних работах АБС.
