Alright, desciption time!So I finally go the lineart piece colored
so glad this is done for show, although there were things about this that almost had me tearstaining the paper of pure frustration. Example of that frustration is (as you might have noticed) the sky, which I originally didn't want fully colored because it doesn't look too great, but because I don't have any lighter blue than the one you see here, this was the only alternative, because I wouldn't have been able to make a proper gradient effect. Also, my scanner killed a lot of the shadowing on Crona and the BG, but in the end, I still hope you guys like (if not just a little) of what you see

lol i tend not 2 try 2 give artists 2 much advice concidering my drawing skillz consist of stick figures
i realy like crona(i suck at names)
looks like she was penciled instead of markered or maby pastelled

I only used ink for the lines and COPIC markers to color this pic, so Crona is markered
At the time, I didn't own a dark grey marker, so I had to use the black one on Cynder - and that makes her look at little differently because of the use of negative space.

It's when you use the white to create a feeling of shape within the black.

havent the feintest idea last art class i took the teacher had me draw a wadded up ball of paper....i stoped taking art after that and went with tech classes instead
now i understand y that wanted me 2 draw the ball but it was still pritty pointless
i can however coppy pix with out traceing

Many art assignments are about drawing what you see, intead of drawing what you THINK you see
I guess the paper ball might be one of them.
I can copy stuff without tracing as well, but the piece will always be affected by the fact that it's ME drawing it. My hand/mind has it's own unique style and I can't change that. Though it's a very good way to practice drawing what you see, intead of drawing what your mind thinks you're seeing.
