Certo learning to master the brush at the academy. He works best when no one else are around.I had fun working on this between commissions

A good time to study, when he's not distracted by Crona's comments (I'm assuming) or the prejudice of his classmates.
I like the lighting effects, like the way the fire glow illuminates parts of the bricks on the pillars, showing their grainy, earthy texture. It looks like there's a nice view from that platform, even at night. It's good that you chose night-time here, it seems to sort of suits/reflects Certo's character and history somehow. xP

Thanks! The lighting effects and little details (the smoke and tiny embers from the torches for example) really made this picture I think, and I had a good time trying to figure out the proper lighting and their many different sources here.Β
And yes, I chose night time, because I like to think that Certo has a lot of long nights he spends like this, where he's free from anyone else's presence
