[Click for large file - but be warned, it's huge!]If there were ever a time where blood, sweat, tears and banging my head against the table numerous times was soooo worth it I wouldn't have it any other way, that time is definitely now. I. AM. SO. F***ing proud of this!
So here you are Jesse, this is what's been keeping me from doing our collab, but I hope you don't mind when you see it. It's by far the most detailed picture I've ever created and I don't think my words could ever express how proud I am to have finished this for you
I hope you've probably guessed by now who these two dragons are, but if you're in doubt it is of course Crona and Certo
I wanted to do them in a realistic style and since I know you love my pencil drawings I thought I'd go for it and make it a grand piece.
Now all there's left to say here is... HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!!! this is your day!

Dear god, I'm still in love with this picture after weeks and weeks. *Stares in awe...* I can't wait to get through book 3 and onto book four. I'll make it the most spectacular book I've written yet! This picture is so inspiring! If I lived in Canada I'd marry this picture. lol

Its amazing work and the level of detail is stunning...I cant think how long it took you to make it but the final result is breath takingly good

I worked on it on and off for 1Β½ month, so it took me quite a while because I had to figure out a lot of anatomy issues you don't need to think of when you make a more simplified pic.

Kia was gliding peacefully until she glanced at this illustration and jerked to a hault. The sudden change in momentum caused her passenger, moonlit, to fall off her back. Kia quickly caught her with her double tail and excalimed, "HOLY FREAKIN' CRAP THIS IS AMAZING! I'M IN AWE!!"
Moonlit stared wide-eyed, "Wow, absolutely amazing..."
Kia diverted her gaze to Moonlit, "Why couldn't you do that for me?" she snorted.
"Cause I don't have the bloody patience nor the time this year - nor I'm not sure if I am up to this level yet." Moonlit replied.
Kia huffed, "Excuses, excuses..."

Really, it's just practice it comes down to. There is nothing in this world that can't be drawn by you, it's only a matter of how much you practice on that one thing.

Haha the horns weren't that hard to draw, but I did add more detail than I ever would normally, so I had to figure out how the thick skin around the base of the horn would look
