Description One of the main tasks I had on Miniguns: assault was to figure out the way the world worked, tiling system and so on. This is one of the early representations. These tiles that I painted for it were all intended temporary  art because, we knew we were going to go with someone else to do the art, at the time undetermined, which is why I didn't break my back making the landscape too glamorous, just well enough to prove. This was purely for function, to show art, design and engineering what my intentions were. I ultimately came to the decision that I thought a vertical hex grid would best suit our needs, for it allowed me to get the depth and blending that I wanted to achieve with the tiling system. Later on we decieded to contract Petur Antonsson   , former in house Booyah artist, to do the final tiles, which is an awesome get. That base representation is something I painted early on that we used to establish a players HQ in world.
