Bright Eyes and Lancer from My Little Pony Tales. They like books. (so do I)I don’t think I’ve ever drawn any Tales ponies before. I regretted picking the charcoal pencil tool to outline them. Ugh.

It is actually rare that I find drawings depicting G1 ponies. They are almost all from the Friendship series. You did a great job with this! For me the G1 are "the" MLP

I wonder how things would have gone if they had gotten another reason. Then again, this was made in the day when "shown in any order" was the sacred law none could break.

Seriously, these two are my favorites from the entire franchise. I'm even working on a Kamen Rider crossover right now where Lancer's the main hero. Still, any MLP art with Lancer alone blows me away, let alone with Bright Eyes...

Oh, I just mean Tales actually had a chance of romantic development, which the writers of the current show have explicitly eschewed in the main cast. So, y'know, you can't really expect any ship to be confirmed in the show.
