Description
Scootaloo! It's a good thing she's a commission, if I made her for sale I'd have been tempted to keep her for myself.
I had some adventures trying to dye her fur the right shade of orange, but I'm very happy with how she turned out (and I have some extra leftover, hmmmm, might make a little beanie version). This is the first time I've used Mongolian shag for the mane/tail - it takes dye beautifully, and it's extremely dense and soft, great stuff.

I really love the sitting pattern - do you have a bit of a hint on how to get such a pattern?

Well, think of it basically as a triangle - the belly piece forms one side and the bottom, and the body sides connect up. You can draft a sitting pattern fairly easily using the front part of a standing pattern, then using the silhouette of a sitting pose.

She's made from the "bunny fur" from Hancock Fabric, but unfortunately it's been discontinued (this was the last of my stash). The seal or super seal is very similar.

Eeek, no, it's faux fur, they just call it bunny fur.
Anyways, I dyed it with Rit brand dye, in a vinegar/salt bath.
