This one of my favorite games ever, and this picture along probably made that my one favorite scene in the first game. Love it! This is amazing!

They aren't killing her. They are her comrades. Shiranui (the one who is bleeding) is Amaterasu (the one who looks like her) 100 years ago and they all got in a fight with demons threatening Oki's (the blue and red wolf) home. Shiranui came from the past to help but she was fatally injured. She ended up getting stabbed by one of them. but she never gave up. so its a very encourage and beautiful game and work of art. I recommend you play it.
