Well, Mike Patton is a musical genius. Most well known for his voice, he has, I think, a 5 octave range. He's been in many bands such as Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, Tomahawk, Lovage, Fantomas and more. He's also collaborated with and been a guest on several other bands' albums like The Dillinger Escape Plan, General Patton vs. The X-excutioners (on which Patton wrote all of the music, produced and created all of the beats and what not), Bjork (he's featured on a few songs on her album Medulla singing with the Icelandic Choir), Kaada/Patton (which is a collaboration between Patton and Norweigian musician John Kaada. this album is truly amazing), worked with a few composers, mainly John Zorn and Angelo Badalamenti. The composers he's worked with has influenced him greatly, it can be heard especially in Mr. Bungle and Fantomas. All in all, the only way I feel you can know why Mike Patton is so great is by listening to some of his music. You should check out [link] , which is Mike Patton's record label. There you can sample songs from Fantomas, Tomahawk, and Kaada/Patton, as well as a butt load of other bands signed to the label. I would also recommend picking up a copy of the Mr. Bungle album "California". This is the band's last album and they definitely reached their full potential on this album. Every song on the album is from a completely different genre. They go from psychobilly, to a tragic love song, to a do-wop song about the porn industry. Thanks so much for the TON of information! Most people don't even bother but I can see that you are really into his music and career, and feel compelled to educate others on his success. I feel the same way about Kurt Cobain, but thats a different story. Anyway, thanks for the info! The pic is so much cooler because of your description...

Whoa, I never said I wouldn't date anybody but her. And I never lost her. Shit, I'm moving to the same town she lives in in a month and a half. Let's just say I have a soft spot in my heart for her.
