I had about an hour where I hated this but then I reworked some of the lighting and Ariannas face and now I'm quite happy with it!
Β Owwwwwwww poor tongue, that's gotta hurt. ;w; But I feel more sorry for Ari. She's frickin terrified outta her mind!! But don't worry, she'll be fine.
Two more to go, gotta finish them both today! @ w @;;Β

Being eaten would actually be a great opportunity to kill whatever might have been large enough to eat you in the first place, acid and suffocation aren't instant deaths afterall. Prey will typically have at least a minute or two before the even the acid would start to inflict a lot of pain afterall. And who's to say they can't bite you in there either? Predators usually are not made of metal afterall.

If you have electric weapons (a Shock Arrow, say) you could probably also probably provide a direct shock to the nerve receptors lining the stomach. Internal juices are pretty conductive.

That's actually an extremely good way to kill yourself instead. Never mix Electricity with fluids of any kind. Yeah, the Pred is going to feel it (probably at least), but it's not even close to killing. The energy requirement for the sheer size difference is too great.
The Prey, by contrast, just lost all the natural resistance to electricity that dry skin provides. There is a reason you are not supposed to use tasers in wet conditions.
The stomach being compromised and acid leaking onto other internal organs is probably the most threatening thing prey can do to a predator in this sizing without involving poisons anyways.
I'd be far more wary of natural lightning strikes at a large size anyways. Depending on what part of the world you live in of course.
Then again, natural lightning only has a kill ratio of 1/10 to 3/10.

That's one of the problems with vore I suppose. Unless your insides are indestructible, your completely vulnerable on the inside. What's to stop someone with as much as a simple wood pencil from punching enough holes in you to make the 'swallowed whole' thing more dangerous for the predator?
Let alone the "tiny knife" or worse that your prey might have had hidden on them. It would be pretty hard to notice a small multi tool in a pocket afterall.

It took me a while to realise that she was plunging a knife into that tongue, because the picture was quite dark. I was a bit confused why the description stated. "That's gotta hurt", I thought the thing gulping her down was in pain from her right fist banging on the tongue. Who or what keeps swallowing her anyway? It looks like a human, but we can't be sure.

Hey don't forget the random objects with a pointy bit! Pencils are always going to be able to at least make a bunch of small holes in the stomach for acid to leak out into the predator's not-acid-proof guts afterall.
