This idea came to me a few days ago, but because of various things that were keeping me busy, I couldn’t draw it at the time. Normally, when I get an idea, I scribble it down really fast, and move on - the drawings obviously suffer but I often don't have the energy to put in any more effort. But, having to wait to be able to draw it was an uncommon but rewarding feeling, and so I felt inspired to spend a bit more time on it. I think it turned out pretty well. It's, obviously (or at least hopefully) aping DC/Marvel comics, particularly the (in this case, incredibly lazy) colouring.Feel free to come up with your own origin stories for this AU Venus. All I know is that she’s the reincarnation of Aphrodite, and she don’t take no shit.

Nicely done. Kind of makes me think that she might have a similair situation that Billy Batson/Captain Marvel has. Only for this one, the civilian identity is a mousey, teenage girl writing romance advice for a teen magazine and she becomes Sailor V/Sailor Venus, the guardian of love.

Hey, I really like that idea! Everyone looks up to her as a modern-day Aphrodite as V, but underneath, she's just a mild-mannered, unlucky-in-love nerdette... I'd read that.

Ahhh, I love it! She totally does look like a Western comics style (well, when they draw super-powered women well, I mean, not...like what shows up in Escher Girls), the teeny boob window reminds me of power girl but actually in-character for Minako, and I love how you transformed her choker, gloves, and sailor collar so that we're still reminded of them but they're different things now! And I *love* her mask! Also wow, I didn't know you could do realistic/non-anime faces, nice!

Thank you very much! It seems like most people didn't like the boob window, even though it's tiny and Minako canonically has pretty much no issue fighting in ridiculous/sexy armour, or stripping off at a moment's notice.

Ahaha!! Oh my, V, you could probably crack nuts with a single ab crunch. And that is so hot.
This is fantastic! Great job on the comic style as well, totally doing it justice. The costume design is a perfect meeting in the middle- This story needs made!! As we've seen from Minako, PGSM-verse especially, she could really adapt to the strict superhero, dual identity lifestyle as well.
I'm so glad when you cross post your art to dA because I absolutely want to spam you with comments but the ways of Tumblr will always elude me.
