Description View 1 of a Sith Holocron I modeled.

For those of you unfamiliar with these devices, a Holocron was made/used by Jedi or Sith to store information about the Force , lightsaber construction and use, and other topics important and relevant to Force-users. These things projected a hologram of the person who recorded the information onto it, through which the user could access the data. A holocron was only unlockable via use of the Force, so only Force-users could use one. Sith holocrons were pyramidal in shape, as opposed to the cubical Jedi ones.

The phrase in Aurabesh(Star Wars font) along the bottom of the Holocron is "In umbris potestas est." This is a Latin phrase literally translating to "In the shadows there is power."

Made in POV-Ray.

Sith, Jedi, Holocrons, and Star Wars are copyright LucasArts/LucasFilms

you used POV-Ray to make this! very impressive... i myself could not be bothered to deal with the insane amount of code required to make something like this. i'm clearly not a programmer.... lol

good work dude!

Hehehe. xD

Well, that is a downside to POV-Ray if you want to use its SDL to make stuff: The POV-Ray SDL is for all intents and purposes a full programming language for that program.
