Well, in sense of understanding...to me the concept's more like an extension of hugging or cuddling. It's like a step closer, beyond what's actually feasible, and I like the thought of being that intimate with someone. Obviously it helps that i've been fascinated with anatomy and biology since I was little, so I have a lot of appreciation for body structures and the art of their form and function. In all honesty, if you stripped away the fearful realities, being inside a loved one's body sound blissful to me. Again, like a big, soft, squishy hug.

I'm not sure if I understood your question properly... it's up to you- the viewer, if she will digest or just keep her inside. And why would she digest? There are many reasons. For some digestion- being absorbed by pred, is the ultimate domination, others just want to become one with their pred/prey. 'You can't be any closer than that'. But keeping prey alive is great too and I love it

and i have to admit, it would be best to choose pred and i'd rather stay alive and well then go through the painful process of being digested alive. nowadays, i still prefer being prey in vore RPs, but if vore existed, i'd most likely take either side. honestly, i have to admit being pred of a nonfatal soft vore is a BIG responsibilty- i mean, keeping the prey alive and then spitting them out afterwards. prey have less responsibility like this, but they have less choice if they digest or not- depending by the fatal aspects and the responsibility and kindness of the pred.

well, i'm a fan of vore, but not the digestion part. i prefer prey to be scared/okay with no/little injuries, although i do know that it's life in vore. say, if you got the chance to prey on a micro, would you? or would you get eaten yourself?

Personally I like digestion because... well, there are certain elements I like (some for consensual and some for non-consensual) that are in a lot of ways have a bit more gravity when you consider the sort of finality of vore when digestion is involved.
For non-consensual vore, there are a lot of sort of BDSM type elements that appeal to me, and if the prey is digested, these are greatly magnified: if the predator is particularly sadistic, the sense of domination that the predator exerts over their prey, the sort of feeling of hopeless that the prey experiences as they are trapped inside of the predator's belly and all too aware of their fate, etc
For consensual vore, there is the sort of willful submission of prey that is being willingly eaten because they feel that they would be of more value as a meal than they would otherwise be, the sort of romantic gesture of a willing meal become part of their lover's (or a celebrity that they fanatically follow) body, the sort of commitment that it requires, how beautiful and confident the predator feels about having people that are all too eager to be eaten by them, etc.
These things, to me, are all meaningful if the prey is actually eaten as food and digested rather than just a quick in and out.
And I'm more of a predator these days.

yeah, i guess i can see your point. honestly, i can't draw stomachs very well, although i do believe it is unrealistic to have NO traces of digestion... for me, the type of near-digestion is best, which eventually results in the prey being coughed up, though the pred would've liked to digest them.
but the consensual doesn't nessicarily HAVE to be willing- either by the pred or prey- but certainly not at the same time! no, sometimes the pred will swallow the prey for fun, planning to spit them out after the "fun". and honestly, i've been just sorta imagining about on in which the prey is willing, but the pred is not exactly, although he agrees. just a thought...

Yeah, I know what you mean with that second part. Like the sort of thing where the predator or prey doesn't specifically want to engage in any sort of vorish activities, but not enough to the point of them not going along with it. It predator or prey (whichever it may be) isn't particularly willing, but they certainly aren't unwilling. Perhaps in some cases they are almost indifferent.
I've read/wrote a couple of bits where a predator eats a lover or a fan, and while the prey wasn't exactly planning on being eaten, they don't really do anything to resist.
On the other hand, you might have someone that would like to be eaten more than anything else in the world, and so they willingly give themselves up to the predator (perhaps their lover), and the predator just sort of rolls with it to please their prey.
In some of these cases, it becomes less about the prey being food for the predator and more about a sort of unification, since the prey is going to become part of the predator when they are absorbed into their body after digestion.
