While sitting by the river, 549 spotted the Onerous Stone! She freed it from a dip in the sand and followed it upstream into the pine forest that borders her boundary. As she approached the trees she felt the grasses on her back wilt and die, leaving a trail of feathery clumps behind her.

Disclaimer: I spent way too long on this. Additionally, my iPad couldn't handle the number of layers I was using, and so I wound up with >15 copies of the image with different parts on it. The amount of times it shut down on me was infuriating.
Due to how taxing this piece was to make, it could be the last entry I submit to the Waterways event? Hopefully not though because I could really go for those sweet, sweet whiskers.
