For 's walfasmon hack.So Manshou's taking the place of Heracross, but asked me to add a sprite to try and take up space, so I made a chibi sprite 'cause those are easier for me to make. I'm very pleased with how she turned up; at first I wasn't really impressed with her, she kept just looking like Yuugi (Her base), but once I got her finished, that's when I saw Manshou and not Yuugi.

These are really good! Manshou is very well-made and Chibi Manshou is ABSOLUTELY F-ING ADORABLE!! I just want to take her home and hug her and play with her and eat cereals with her and we'll frolic with the Atticus together and I'll love her and feed her and care for her and name her George!! XD

That's okay. I don't even remember which episode it was, except that it had the Abominable Snowman or whatever he was. I only think I ever saw it once, but that line has stuck with me forever. I just now realized that that whole character is a giant reference to Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. Like just now. Ya see? Sometimes we just need a little poke in the memory to jar something loose.

Well have you read Flowers for Algernon? Replace the main character with Chuckie and replace the mental retardation with Chuckie's sense of smell and that is exactly what the episode was.
Keep in mind I realized this while walking in a parking lot on the way back to my dorm after a class that had absolutely nothing to do with Rugrats or Flowers for Algernon.

Yes, I have read Flowers for Algernon. It was a good book, though it was sad that Algernon couldn't retain his newfound mental ease. His last letter was heartbreaking for its very ignorance of what had occurred. That Algernon couldn't even retain fully his experiences throughout the book was probably the most tragic part.
Isn't the mind such an enigmatic thing? For example, the previous statement was in response to your second statement, and was going to be worded "Isn't the mind a wonderful thing?" until I realized how that might be misunderstood when put with the comments on Flowers for Algernon. Yet I thought both of them together.

Also, I found a sprite that would work better for CRiviera's base, so I'm going to be updating it tomorrow. I'm not going to reupload her whole sheet, but I'm going to upload the chibi sprite by itself. I'm also becoming more and more attached to the glasses version of Riviera, so I think I'm going to want that one in the game instead of the other one.

Gensokyo Scenario is a FireRed hack, but you can't tell at first glance. basically, you're in gensokyo, you start in the Hakurei shrine after being gapped there. the ENTIRE MAP is different. everything. you can't tell it's a firered hack until you see the pokedex layout and the openign.speaking of which, you get TWO starters, one's random, the other one you pick out yourself

Yes. I didn't mean RIGHT now (that would be wonderful). I just meant as soon I can possibly get a copy. If only I had the time and ability to sprite! For now I certainly have the motivation! Skill can be gained with practice, but time remains an issue. I am not (for better or for worse) Sakuya Izayoi. Is there any other way I can help, or are the only pressing issues ones of programming?

I'm not done. the first thing you fight, like that Zigzagoon in ruby and saphire, is a SHINY CRemilia, which, if I'm not mistaken, can't be caught, unless your CLunaChild just happens to pickup a pokeball. now I'm done.

also, be careful when ripping the sprites, you could mess something up, according to the EXTRA part.

it's kinda glitchy, mainly in the sprites. sometimes if there are too many sprites, it may mix them up. and I suggest grinding. a lot. Aya is your rival battle, she uses a lvl 10 CMomiji that will NUKE your team to death with quick attack. CAya is easy. Remilia is the 'gym leader' I still haven't beaten her.

Yeah, when Reimu took me to pick my starter two of the pokeballs were parts of her sprite.

as I said before, glitchy. also, this isn't the original, this is a remake, so there's bound to be problems
