I like this time rotor the best out of all the original console props, but the controls always struck me as looking too much like a mutated BBC Micro. Still, it's good that they tried to make the console look sophisticated and complicated to use - it's easily the best console prop after the 1960s original and hugely superior to the absolutely knackered late 70s prop it replaced.

I loved the original series console room and consoles best. This one was my favorite as well.
I wonder if this is the original console or a reproduction? If it is fake, it is very good. Looks like the real one to me. Thanks for sharing your picture of it.

It's mostly the original, which was sold to a fan called Andrew Beech (lucky son of a...) many years ago. Over the years, bits of the console have become too badly damaged and stolen (the panel containing the door lever was stolen, I think). The entire prop was restored (and new bits added) especially for the exhibition. If you can, I highly recommend going to the "Experience".
