Description      Jesse had just sat down with a bowl of soup when his cell phone rang.

"Apricot Parmesan," the voice said, and blank expression washed over Jesse's face.

"Go outside to the parking lot," came the emotionless instructions.  Jesse obeyed blindly as he'd been programmed.  With his steaming soup sitting on the coffee table and the television still on, he left his apartment.  Trundling down two flights of stairs, he pushed through the glass entry doors and followed the sidewalk to the small parking lot next to the building.

"Stand in a parking space," the voice said.  Jesse robotically walked to the nearest open parking space.

"Turn into a red, 2008 Camaro Super Sport.  Close the cell phone."

Programmed to do as he was told, Jesse snapped the phone shut and knelt down as his hands and feet turned black and began to inflate.  His body elongated as his ass grew into a trunk with a spoiler and his chest expanded into a seating compartment.  Axles grew between his wheels as he put his head down and his face widened; his smile becoming a chrome grill and his eyes becoming glass headlights.  His ears flattened into fenders over his front tires, while his brain reformed into a V-8 engine that immediately hummed to life.  The dashboard, steering wheel and seats formed inside and the cell phone was now sitting in one of his console cup holders.  The transformation complete, he sat there waiting for further instructions.

A greasy-looking man in a brown leather jacket came out of a side door to the apartment on a cell phone.

"Which one?" he asked, scanning the parking lot until his eyes locked on Jesse. "Oh, wow.  You sure, dude?  Thanks!"

Trotting over to the red car with undisguised lust in his eyes, he ran one finger along the front fender.  "Oh, this is going to be great," he said, slipping into the driver's seat.  He revved the engine a few times and fondled the steering wheel a bit before shifting into reverse and backing out of the parking spot.

A short trip later, they pulled up to a suburban house and the greasy guy checked his slicked hair in the rear view mirror.  Shooting himself two thumbs up, he got out and headed up the walk to ring the door bell.

A cute but chubby blonde answered the door. "Hello, David?" she asked.

"Hi, you must be Norah?" he responded.  They exchanged pleasantries for a few moments and then he led her back to the car.

"Wow!  Is this your car?" she asked, clearly impressed.

"Uh, it is tonight," David said, opening the passenger door for her.  Once she sat, she started marveling over the interior, feeling the dash and squeezing the cushions.  David climbed in an noticed her admiring the car.  "It's nice isn't it?"

"Oh yeah.  I just love sports cars," she said, eliciting a grin from David.

He drove them to a Sonic Drive-In where they got burgers and shared their fries.  David was a night security guard and Norah worked at a temp agency.  They'd been set up on this blind date by her friend Joan who knew his friend Reginald.

After dinner they went to a drive-in movie and pushed the seats back a bit to relax.  David's hand eventually made it over the console to Norah's leg, and she didn't stop him.  They continued talking and Norah said she really liked him, and couldn't wait for their next date.

When the movie was over, David drove back to Norah's place and walked her to her door, getting a perfect goodnight kiss.  Smiling like an idiot the whole way home, David parked the car outside the apartment complex.

The cell phone in the cup holder rang.  David looked around for a moment, a bit confused, but then picked up the phone and answered it.

"Oh, hey!  Yeah, the car was great, thanks.  I'm definitely seeing her again.  My truck should be out of the shop tomorrow.  Okay.  Thanks again," he said, setting the open phone back into the cup holder and climbing out.  There was a long pause while David walked back into the apartments.

"Change back into yourself," the voice said through the phone.  The car began to shrink, collapsing in on itself as the hood formed back into a head, the tires became hands and feet, and the passenger compartment became his chest.  In moments, Jesse was on his hands and knees in the parking lot with the cell phone on the ground in front of him.  He numbly picked it up and stood.

"Go back to your apartment and sit on the couch," said the voice.  Again, Jesse did as he was told, returning to his single-bedroom apartment and talking a seat.

"Apricot Parmesan," said the voice.  Jesse blinked a couple of times and shook his head.  He glanced at the phone in his hand.

"Hello?" he asked, but the line was dead.  Shrugging it off and sitting up, he looked at his bowl of soup.  It was cold and a thick layer of scum had formed over the top.

"What the hell?" he said, checking the time.  It was nearly 10:30 p.m.  He pinched his eyes together and yawned.  He must have dozed off on the couch.

Taking his bowl back to the kitchen and pouring it out, he considered making more.  But strangely, he suddenly had a craving for Sonic hamburgers.

Turbo Teen was my inspiration for the flow of the transformation, yes! I never saw your drawing! How funny we both chose Camaros!

I'm still developing Jesse, but I'm fairly certain it's the words that change him. The words have been set up to hypnotize him. Something else is doing the changing. Perhaps it's his own ability and he doesn't even know he has it, but the 'voice' knows and uses it for their own devices (literally!). Maybe it IS a spell sent through the phone each time? Still working on it.

Thanks for the link and feedback!
