Description      "Honey, the sitter's here!  We're leaving now," mom called out.  Billy rolled his eyes and blew the head off another alien.  He was 12-years-old and didn't need a sitter anymore.  It was an insult to his intelligence.

Hearing the door shut and the clacking of heels on the wood floors, he diverted his attention for but a moment to glance over.  He watched for more than a moment.

The woman who walked into the living room had to be in her mid 20's with curly blonde hair a red dress.  She caught his eye as she approached and waved.  Embarrassed for staring, he turned back to the TV and continued playing.

She moved in front of him, almost blocking the TV.

"Hello, Billy.  My name is Gloria.  I'll be looking after you tonight," she said in a pleasant voice.  Billy tried to ignore her and shrugged.

With a sigh, she picked the remote off the coffee table and turned off the TV.

     "Hey!" he complained.

"Hay is for horses.  Now, why don't we go and get some fresh air?" she said.

"Yeah, right.  Why don't you just go somewhere and text your boyfriend?" he snorted.  That's what all the other babysitters had done while they were supposed to be 'watching' him.

"I don't have a boyfriend," she remarked with a smile.  "C'mon, Billy.  How about a nice walk in the park.  Just the two of us?  A little exercise might do you good."

Billy wasn't sure if this lady was on drugs or what.

"Um, no.  I have a skin condition.  Can't go outside.  Yup," he lied.

Gloria's gaze lowered at him.  "Don't lie to me, young man.  We can do this the easy way or the hard way.  Your choice."

"Is that a threat?  Just wait until my parents hear you threatened me!" he scoffed, pulling out his cell phone and flipping it open.

As he started thumbing through the phone numbers, he watched in horror as his hands began to shrink.

     "What the hell?" he shouted.

"Cursing isn't helping," Gloria said.  He looked up at her and saw she was pointing a stick at him.

"What are you doing ..." he started to say as his whole body quickly shrank, his hands disappearing into his sleeves and his head disappearing into his shirt.  He was enclosed by the darkness of his own clothes and felt weird laying on his back.  He rolled on his side and tried to crawl, but his feet weren't working right.

"Bark!" he suddenly said.  Why couldn't he talk?  "Bark!!"

Light suddenly appeared behind him and he turned to see the living room.  Running toward it, he was suddenly falling and hit the floor with a thump.  He tried to stand but had trouble, and when he finally did he was actually standing on all fours rather than his knees.  His long fingernails made a 'clacking' noise on the floor as he looked up at the suddenly huge room.

Gloria was suddenly standing over him looking like a giant.

"Now, how about we go for that walk?" she said, picking him up by the scruff of his neck.  He let out a confused yelp as she did, feeling all the skin of his body lift him up.

Billy looked in the mirror above the china hutch to see Gloria carrying a white chihuahua.  She picked up a checkered bag and slung it on her shoulder as they moved toward the door.

"I've got a collar and a leash just your size, but for now you need to ride in here," she said, placing him in the bag.  He gave another surprised bark.

"I told you we could do it the easy way or the hard way.  This way is much easier, don't you think?"

Cool! I liked the twist about Jesse not remembering anything of it

I wonder who this evil father is! He cares more about some guy loosing his date than his own son! But then again it might not be his father.. Perhaps he was Jeremy's father! Or some evil corporation with a larger goal in mind >D

OOPS!

Seems I posted the wrong story into that block.

I'm glad you liked the other story. Jesse is a running plot device I came up with last year. He has three stories on here so far and more planned. I haven't really figured out what's happening to him or who's doing it yet. I'll have to end one of the upcoming stories with some more revealing information.

The Voice is very omnipresent, clearly able to see Jesse when he's transforming and following orders. In one other story he even picks him up and takes him back to his own truck after a mission.

Anyway, hope you like the ACTUAL story based on your picture!
