Because, apparently, it needs repeating?
I am not one to ever presume that my voice (as a cisgender person) should be louder than a trans person’s, but I wanted to let my trans followers know that you are loved, and the hate going on in the US right now does not diminish your worth to the people who matter. Bigots are always going to ruin the fun but hopefully people voting in the midterms in the US will push back against the proposed laws and revisions.
If you are in the US, please remain safe, vote if you can, and create a support network of friends and allies. If you aren’t publicly out yet, I urge you to try to wait for a better time when the tensions aren’t too high. Violence is still a real problem against the trans community and bigots embolden bigots.
For trans people not in the US, this news is still tragic and must be impacting you greatly. If you live in Australia, here are some resources for you if you’re struggling with mental health and/or gender identity.

I can never presume to understand what you are going through but if you’d like to vent to me about what’s going on in your life, please do.
If you are not trans, it is your duty as a person with cisgender privilege to let trans people know there is a community out there who supports and loves them.
I will not upload this onto my store unless someone in my notes thinks it is appropriate to do so, because I don’t want to try to make a profit off the pain of real people.
