Absolutely beautiful minimalism... I can't even imagine how you'd get a shot like this without getting some details you wouldn't want in there - did you have to photoshop out anything like that? (such as a bird in the distance, or a mountain peeking out, etc?)

It is shot on long exposure. Therefore, if a bird flew by, then on the picture it will not be visible. Mountains is not there. This is a large reservoir.
