TrappedIn a never ending nightmare
Feel the fire lick my skin
I hear the voices
They seem so real
He talks
HE takes my soul
"Easy to steal"
I should of known
It hurts to know
I belong here
A tragic fate
I can see so clear
No one to call
No one is near
I knew I was never special
Theres a demon inside
No where to hide
IT is the reason why I am
Not at ease and currently on the break of death
This demon
This demon of hate
Beating the hell out of people
Making me mad
Woke up today
Saw I was not dreaming
That damn demon...

Wow, I already thought this was beautiful, but when I read the artist's comment, it became even more so!
I love the short and simple style. The short lines give it even more power/impact. I love the images you "paint" in this piece!
There are some little spelling mistakes, if I'm correct. The most obvious being "I belong hear" which (I think) should be "I belong here". (This can also be artistic poetry freedom, but "I belong hear" makes no sense to me...)
Overall, except from a few, nit-picky grammar/language errors, this is absolutely great! I love it!

Homosexuality isn't a disease. One does not wake up one day after living in the house with a gay and say "Hmm, I feel like sexing it up with some (insert gender-appropriate noun here)"
I also live with ignorant people, but they just disagree with my views of things, not what I actually do. You're going to have to really dig your heels in and stand your ground.
I'd love to argue with this woman, even if it went nowhere, it would prove just how stupid she is.
Does the opinion of this one, ignorant woman truly outweigh the opinions of much smarter, less prejudiced people? She may be a powerful figure in your life, but her opinion is both prejudiced and has no backing evidence.
Society, as we well know, is made up of a great majority of ignorant fools. She's just another charming representative.

Really, hate won't do anything for you. It's better to let it go and feel the satisfaction of knowing how much better than them you are, rather than boiling away inside.

...no, I just think sometimes we need to lighten up our problems a bit. If someone makes jokes, you start to realise how stupid everyone's being.
Keep fighting, sir! I don't want to have someone I know (or anyone, for that matter) falling victim to the prejudices of society...
We can't let the idiots win. It just isn't right.
