Mel has changed alot since she "died". Though that doesn't mean she hasn't held onto a few old habits. She likes to know everything, and doesn't hesitate to poke her nose into people's business. Curiosity killed the cat, so it's probably a good thing she's dead anyway.

Mel has become more soft-spoken since her "death" though. She typically addresses people politely, both friends and victims alike. Though she has been known to overreact over small things like spilled milk. (Because, you know- spilled milk is just so upsetting D':>)

♥ Bio:
Melanie was normal once; a beautiful human girl spoiled rotten by her family, who bought her any and every toy she wanted. She'd often tear apart her toys and dolls for her own amusement and discard them when they became useless. It did not take long for word to spread of the young girl's abusive habits to the ears of a powerful sorcerer; one who had brought a few of the girl's discarded toys to life in the past. She decided that the matters finally be called to justice.

On her 18th birthday, Melanie received a hand-knitted "toy" scarf from her grandmother; a cute little pair of googly-eyes sewn into one end. Before the day was out, Melanie had already ripped a gaping hole in it. After being scolded and left alone, the sorcerer appeared before her, and cast a powerful curse over the spoield girl. The curse ripped Melanie's heart from her chest and placed it in the scarf, bringing it to life. The sorcerer said she was to care for this item from now on. If she ever harmed the scarf, harm would come to her just the same. To make an example, the hole previously ripped in the scarf by the girl caused a hole to "rip" in her head... just the same. Needless to say, the shock of it all caused Melanie to faint. When her parents discovered their daughter on the floor with a bloody head and no pulse, it was safe to assume she was dead.

Melanie woke up in a coffin. When she'd broken free from the ground like some scene out of a bad horror movie, she soon discovered that she could not return to her life. Her skin had become discolored, her eyes glowed an unnatural red. She was called a "zombie" by those who saw her. And those paranoid enough to attack her were swiftly dealt with by her scarf. She originally hadn't meant for any harm. It was only protecting her.

Melanie's (accidental) causing of panic in the streets attracted the attention of employees from a place called the Toy Store. They kindly offered her a home there, where they claimed she would be treated better. Though she was reluctant at first, after wandering about for many years without a purpose, she finally accepted a job as a soul harvester.
