This image draws me into the image as a view. I feel like I become part of the image. I feel myself pulled over to the side of the road, looking down the curve and getting excited about my next move on my motorcycle of course.

There is a mystery to the image. What is around the bend. The mystery in the sky, is there a storm coming we just don't know. I feel the black and white makes this more mysterious.

I find the way you framed the image is perfect giving the sky equal power over the image.

The only thing I might have done different is try to get a little closer to the road. and remove the tire marks. They take me away from the scene of the picture.

Although the tire marks could be a whole different aspect. If you want us to wonder what went off the road. This could give us a whole new twist to the image. But if you remove the tire marks I believe it gives a more back to nature, peaceful image.

Over All I love the lighting, I love the colors and I love the mysterious feeling of the whole image.

This image is so effectively taken, the viewer is automatically pulled into the scene by the angle of the image. I feel as if I myself am walking down this road and taking in this beautiful scenery! The image is so beautiful in black and white, it gives the image depth, and the viewer may wonder if a storm is brewing over this landscape. The rolling clouds above, and the sun's highlights on the road come together to create such a stunningly beautiful image! I believe this image creates such a wonderful atmosphere with it's depth and lighting. Wonderful work!!

Critique:
The road beginning in the foreground of the picture draws the eye from the bottom to the middle of the piece and gives one the feeling of traveling and lends movement to the piece. The rule of thirds is executed rather well with the hill drawing one line across the trees drawing a second line across the top thus leaving the the S curve in the center. One definitely gets the feeling of traveling down a country road. However, I think this piece lacks a bit of focus. If the shot were adjusted so that the bottom of the picture begins at the outer edge of the hill it would more effectively create the focal point in the bend of the road I think you were looking for. I would also like to suggest an up in contrast because this is a B&W piece. I think it would highlight the details of the forest a bit better. However, that said, this piece does grab me. It may be because I live in a rural area and the road around here are a lot like this one...Actually this looks a lot like a piece of road that I travel quite a bit lol. This piece is very nice, I think it has even more potential with just some slight editing. Well done!

HELLO.
Where is the focal point in this picture,,,,where does your eye go to immediately?
It is the roadside barrier.
Highlight this barrier with the dodge tool..........not too much.
It is a lovely pic and one feels like you, as the viewer are going along this road.
I am sure it can be better.
IF you need to know anything else let me know.
Would like to see it again with a bit of highlighting................

Reminds me of my childhood when we would go on vacation and I was so excited to see what was just around the next bend. Makes me want to go on a road trip. The perspective is great creating a sense of mystery in the upcoming turn.

This is a great use of black and white with a well composed image. The trees all have a great texture, and the shadows keep the road from becoming too flat. Good job.
