All of the pen-work was copied stroke for stroke from an original not of my making. I should perhaps have said more specifically that I cannot compose my own drawings, which remains true.

What an impressive artwork! It is a treat to see something like this on dA! Is that gold leaf I see? I particularly love the consistency of size as regards the graphic elements. It would have been tempting, I'm sure, to start filling in with larger motifs, but the scrolling of the vines and the scallops of the leaves is very attractive. Thank you for sharing such a nice piece of work
