Thanks for making this! I've been struggling with making the walking animation play while the character is moving for a while now And thanks to this I finally got it right! I still need to make it work with a character that moves in 8 directions though..

I love this tutorial, I like how you explained each little piece of the script, to make it fully understandable. Even though I can usually understand script by just looking at it, the explanations will help with writing it.

Quickies for the Walking animation, you probably already know this, but to make the stick guy walk more smoothly you should animate him moving more than one leg

Oh and heres a fun code

Stage.showMenu = false;

Pretty self explanatory, it gets rid of the quality control, and the pause/rewind/play functions in the right click commands.
