I agree with this style, it's simple with a good balance between toony and realistic detail [like the eyes].
[And I mean even without the "e" is there any other way of pronouncing it? Moos? Moose? Mou with a silent "s"?]

Well mice are super cute in general, and this one doesnβt seem to have that βmouseyβ look since I donβt work on mice that often at all.Β
Yeah leaving in the guidelines gives it that sketchy etchy look
but also I try to leave the guidelines to help people in case they have problems with head shapes and such
