I want to repay you.

Yeah, I know, I'm late. Hasn't it been a while? Yes, quite. But I still haven't done anything, anything truly good, something that suffices, something equal to what you did. Something that would end the suffering you're in right now.

So far, all I have done to this suffering is contribute to it. Life is painfully ironically. Me, the person you have brought so much happiness upon. Sometimes, I think I might have become the curse of your life! My happiness brought you pain. You bought my luck, without knowing the price was yours. What a cruel turn things have taken! At some point I was convinced you really must have hated me.

Still, even though my fortune tortures you, you're the one closest to the source of it. You have more of it than I could ever possibly have. Yet it seems we're stuck in a mutual state of jealousy that flares up and dies down. Ironically once more.

But I still have to pay you back. Something like a drawing won't do. It won't make any of this better. Friendship doesn't seem enough either. Only one thing could truly help... It's silly, and the question is not if I will get stuck, but where I will get stuck. But what else could I do?
