The Ends of Earth Keyblade - TRON LEGACY CrossoverWooo!
Surprise! 
Well, it's not really a surprise. I'm sure you could have guessed why I was making Terra's legendary keyblade.It took a long time to take these pictures. Putting on the costume, adjusting camera/lighting settings, making the damn keyblade, repainting my entire costume, THE LIGHTS PERFECTLY MIRRORED ON BOTH SIDES. It was worth it though. I did it much quicker than I thought. Anyways, This isn't the last surprise, I have one more thing.

With this setup, it seems like it'd be more appropriate that the disc could become a buckler when needed, though it still has that Tron-related problem of _defending/attacking with gear that contains your entire digital identity_. Don't they die if that breaks??
Difficulties with the plot aside, this is a very cool picture.

Hmm.. i'll have to look into that for that answer. I think you're correct though. It seemed like the disc always returned to the defender/attacker. Also, the physical program was destroyed and never a disc. so maybe the discs are theoretically unbreakable?

TBH you've made me realize a thing or two. Their discs do seem largely impervious, it's their bodies that are vulnerable. Thus, a shield would be a great idea. I mean, these aren't lightsabers, where guys are getting scorched and messed up just being near them, so a shield should work.
Well, I suppose they'd have to program themselves differently or something, to be a sword-and-board guy instead of frisbee golfers... and that way they'd not be throwing their damn identity around. Those things don't just come back all the time, from what I recall.
... But that's all hypothetical, anyways. Nothing's a science with that franchise.

I looked a lot into el tape. and it would have costed me $1000+ from the manufacturer :/ plus it would not look as clean with the extra needed space for wiring and battery packs. Also the moving joints would cause stress to the lights so. This is the best choice for what I wanted to achieve

Aha. I was talking more about for the keyblade, but i see your point for the suit. I was looking into some for dual disc keyblade and for a custom order like that if i can carve a hole in the handle and make a cover i can hide the battery pack there. The battery packs really are the biggest problems, and i got a much lower quote at glowhut

I never really understood the keyblade... I'm sure you can unlock some bigass doors with that thing, but they don't really appear sharp. Should be called a keyclub.

haha I suppose. Although the metal on house/car keys are technically called the "blade" of the key so its logical. plus, Square enix loves swords, they'd definitely favor a blade versus a club.

It is a light reflecting film that glows if you shine light at it. So yes it does light up
