THIS is the Terra Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep/Tron crossover costume (yes, COSTUME. This is a Photograph. Except for the background of course) I have been working on for the past 36 days.. >_> which will be unveiled at Dragon Con 2011 which is TOMORROW.

Most of the curved formed armor are made from Wonderflex plastic. The more rectilinear pieces are made with several different types of cardboard. Gloss and matte black spray paints were used. Electrical tape is used for the shiny detailing areas. For the lights, red reflective tape was cut very precisely. Everything is held up by Velcro. For the helmet, I crafted the visor out of cut out Arcylic, then heated into its shape then applied window tint to the rear. I even have a pockets in my chest armor for my phone, keys, and cash

The design process was a long process. Because Terra in Birth By Sleep struggles with the darkness, I choose the lights to be red/orange. I also took light design influences from the Sentries and black gaurds in TRON: Legacy on the front and more of a Sam Flynn design on the rear. This is followed by the Birth By Sleep logo that the KH trio wears in the center of Identity disc on my back.
Some influences from Terra's Armor also are carried through the shoulder pads, the entire right arm, the upper left leg, and of course the Terra helmet. There is a diagonal theme playing, with the left arm/right leg to be more "Tron-like" and the right arm/left leg more "Terra-like" with the weapons corresponding to each arm. The modified Bond of Flame Keyblade is on the "Terra arm" while the identity disk is held on the "Tron arm".

Please dont kill me >_>;; the modified keyblade is only temporary I WOULD NEVER DEFACE YOU MY LOVELY BOND OF FLAME, I LOVE YOUUUU STILLL. (I didnt have time to make Terra's keyblade, so piss off) (Also, bond of flame looks more Tron-ish...so yeah!)

LOTS OF DESIGNING. LIKE A WEEK OF DRAWING DETAILS AND PARTS AT EVERY ANGLE AND PAPER FOLDING STUDIES. I WISH I HAD A TWIN.

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW I AM GOING TO WEAR THIS THING FOR 4 DAYS. ITS HOT AND THE PLASTIC CLINGS TO ME AND GETS SWEATY. THE VENT HOLES DONT DO A GOOD ENOUGH JOBBBB. I CAN GO UP THE STAIRS VERY SLOWLY AND I CANT SIT DOWN >_>;;;; FML. DON'T MAKE FUN OF MY FLAT ASS.
