It's summer break off from Beacon and team RWBY decided to relax at the beach. Unfortunately someone swapped Weiss's SPF 120 sunblock with Dust infused Tan accelerator which had her golden by the time she finished reading one of Blake's novels she "borrowed".

This was fun piece to work on, originally meant to be part of a set of works of pale ladies of fiction getting a tan for a July theme, although a combination of lack of interest by others and other projects and matters made me decide to just do a single piece. Although I am thankful for those who gave their suggestions and input.

I did some pose and expression practice with this one, as well as I tried to give Weiss arms more suited to someone who thrusts with a sword for a living. Also her swim suit says Schnee.

Also I discovered while drawing this image that tanning can make scars even darker which is why I made her scar even more apparent than it normally it is.
