The flat coloring on this collab piece by Latif who did the inks and sketch portion of this piece of me/my art persona as a Masilaou citizen. He's since left DA.This has taken me a while but that's because I've been putting a lot of thought into how to tackle this, as if you've seen any of my other pieces I'm very much a minimalist when it comes to clothing design so this was a whole new area for me but I enjoyed rising to the challenge a lot. Though I found myself having to work on other projects at time because this piece has required the most time and effort out of all my prior pieces and all I've done thus far is lay down the flat colors.
May re-color this in 2015.

This is quite the collab. I like the character design, and the coloring looks very well-done. I'd like to see this done with some shading or highlighting if possible (or I may have to throw my hand in, and make this a 3-way collab -_^). Good job to the both of you.

This was well worth the wait to see how you would handle the color. I agree with Quil about how you incorporated your signature color into the outfit and love how the shading on the sunset came out. The fact that you developed such rich color work on flatwork (espicially with my complex clothing designs) is an testament to your skill.
