what material didt you use
and what is the weight

i'm probebly gona buy aluminum rings and a full vest for me is than probebly gona have a weigth of 7Kg
if i use galvernized steel 18Kg
all 6in1 so i think IF you used steel the one you made is around 4 or 7Kg....

its pretty hefty. I use galvanized steel, 14 ga. I use that because that's the only wire i can find locally.

Nice, i did a shirt with the pattern this way. i later added side pieces to give it a bit more expansion as i got older because i gained some weight (i am a cripple so that happens) but i do prefer the look and feel this way.
Great job.

What type of metal is it, how big are the rings?

I guess my Message didn't get posted. I can't trust this smartphone to do anything smart. Its galvanized steel at 14 Ga. As for the size of each ring that is a mystery even to me.

Any particular reason you put the rings horizontal instead of vertical? Do you have any problems with chest expansion?

A tailored shirt like this is very comfortable. The way the weight rests on your body is different and less restricting, if well executed.

i can wear this all day with a nothing more than a thin cotton shirt underneath. You can see in the image that it fits well.

well the rings ARE going vertical. I did it because it fits me. I don't need expansion because it's custom fitted chainmail. I'm nearly finished with a 6-in-1 that IS horizontal. I have been trying all kinds of styles involving chainmail so i can better understand its physics. Thank you for really checking out my work though. i'm certainly no master and all the criticism is helpful.
