show me what you need
look into my eyes what do you want
a pair of daggers look into you
with deep red streams coming from them
we were both children with desires
take only what you need from me
but what do you see in me of worth
am i not a human with the face of a demon
leading you in every path out of sin
would i really offer you sense of heaven in hell
if i stared into the abyss, would it not stare back at me
it caresses the thought of one's self
it questions the reasons of reality
if light was in here what would it shine on?
would there be any reflections to speak of?
let me show you my heart
its like an empty castle some one told me
there are layers upon layers of vacant rooms
nothing to fill them but dust and mold
hopefully some day some one will find that inner chamber
and i do hope that day is soon for both our sakes

Hey, perfect song just happened to play at the perfect time! XDDDD I had no idea what to call this, but then the radio decided to speak up as soon as I opened up the submission window LOL.
This is actually a really old picture that I've started MONTHS ago, but I think the results are satisfying. : ) It turned out a bit different than I had expected, but I like Cain's outfit that I thought up a moment ago. : D aslkdfjlkasjdf It took FOREVER to finish, but it was worth it!!!
Now to crank out some more artfart while I wait for Chapter 2 Page 16 to come out. *w* SSTTAARRFFIIGGHHTTEERR, ILU~<3

I love those chains, they are gorgeous. When I was your age I couldn't draw chain links worth my life (I actually don't even know if I can now) even though I drew them pretty often. I am also in love with those hands. They're perfect. The glove hand has nice shines and wrinkles to it, too, that make it look even more real. I really like something about the color of their hair merging, too. It doesn't look like their heads are put together, but rather 2 in 1, which is a really neat effect, although I'm not sure what you were going for.
If I have any criticism, it would probably be that I would like to see the black-haired man's eyes. That shadow over his face doesn't give the creepy effect I desire from this piece. I feel like I'd be much more convinced if I could see the look in his eyes. Oh, and probably you want to have more contrast between the white skin of the crying dude and the thing that he's holding. From looking, you can't tell what it is, and it's more confusing if his skin and the heart are almost the same shade. When you're drawing in black and white, you have to really, really try to set objects apart from each other, or they all end up looking like the same thing.
Good job though, I like the mood of this!

Ahahaha..... -not sure what I was doing with the hair thing either- (_ _lllll That was kind of spur of the moment since I was too lazy to actually define the hair. xDD But I /did/ consider trying to make them look individual despite their "combined" hair. Thank you for noticing. : 3
...LOL at the word creepy. xDD Hmm, I hadn't considered that. 8D I just had a lot of trouble drawing his eyes at that time, so I just tossed out the idea altogether. Bad mistake on my part. xD -wishes that traditional pieces were easier to edit- llllorz
You are the FIRST person ever to comment on the heart, so I'm kind of pleased that you could tell what it is. It was actually supposed to be one of the focal points of the picture, but it's obvious that this wasn't expressed as explicitly as I would have liked. xDD I agree that it should have probably been a different shade, like a medium gray or something. ....I think I was going for a contrast against the glove rather than the skin, and then that the flamey pattern surrounding it would kind of activate the space, but it backfired. D:
