Art of lyricalmime 's esk Thimble!So Thimble cured my art block and I also did art like several levels above my usual quality so here's to hoping it's not just a temporary buff. I feel really proud of this.
I tried out painting in black and white and then adding colour as an overlay for the first time in this, and I also primarily used a different brush than usual. I've been getting frustrated with the watercolour brush I gravitate towards recently; while I like having such a smooth blend, I've been wanting to add more opaque layers of colour recently, but have had trouble finding a nice brush for doing that with. The one I used this time was just the first thing I picked, and it happened to feel perfect. I used my usual watercolour brush for the glassy shards.
Thimble is one of my favourite esk, his design is just so pristine.
