Description
A few weeks ago, as I walked through a cemetery, my lady tripped over something in the ground. She kicked and scraped at moss that had overgrown it.
It was a newer tombstone in an old graveyard, A small plaque with the words "Gone, but not forgotten" inscribed. It had sat abandoned, derelict for so long even the groundskeepers had forgotten it in the moss, sinking in the dirt where it sat.

When I think about it,
leaving a note inscribed on your tombstone or simply tagging some abuse or your name on a wall both feel like eerily similar concepts. Nothing more than an aimless scream into the void. An attempt to let history know we existed at all. An act of disobedience when we know we aren't being heard; A protest against the end, for an audience we know we'll never see.

I don't know if I've captured it, but I guess that's the idea behind this one; Nothing more than my scream into the void, a picture to remind us we're all temporary no matter how loudly we insist otherwise.

I didn't get to finish drawing this one because my phone is now gone.. Forever.. with the project file on it.. aaahahaa. But this is a nearly done copy. Some of the tags and etchings were just meant to be placeholders until i found the right words.
But uhh.. Rip.
