If anyone want to ask who my most favorite cartoon cat/feline character, it would be this guy, a british brown tabby. What can I say, I'm a sucker for cultured cartoon characters.This guy is the villian for An American Tail: Fievel Goes West. Voiced by John Cleese. This same character also appeared in the series: Fievel's American Tails, which used to air on ABC on Satuarday mornings in the mid 90's in USA. Gerrit Graham does Cat R. Waul's voice in that series.
The texture I use for this drawing is a grain texture so the lines look sort of smoother.

Indeed. I always did prefere Cat R. Waul over Warren T. Rat/Cat myself. Definetly an awesome villain indeed.

Yeah, but in the Fievel's American Tails series, Cat R. Waul is voiced by Gerrit Graham. He's not bad for doing Cat R. Waul's voice. Here's the link that talks about the series...in case you didn't know they had one: [link]

I'v e heard of the Series. Have know about it for a long time. Unfortunetly never had the plesure of seeing it. Pity, because it looked pretty damn good. Although originaly i never knew they ended up making a SNES gamae based on Fievel Goes West, or the 2 other films in the late 90's. I'd only recently found out about them. I did order the 3rd and 4th movies, mostly out of morbid curiosity, becuase i have heard they're not really that good. Eh.

And by this point, i have seen the 4th movie, and i own the 3rd one, but i've yet to watch it. I like the premise of the 4th movie, and some of the VA work was ok (Heck, i even liked Fievels replacement.) but my god was it a far cry from the classics. Funny how it boasted having "Excellent Songs", yet all i heard was annoying, typical Kid Fodder music.

Yeah. I remember a few people claiming it was pure Heracy for changing the VA. But it's not like they had a choice. The original VA would've aged to much from the period between Fievel Goes West and the 3rd movie.

HOMFGosh!! I just recently became a big fan of Cat R. Waul's x3 I've watched American Tail 1 and 2 manymany times when I was younger in the mid 90's, when i was like, 4..5...6, but kept the videos and decided to rewatch them, casue, well, then you understand stuff a hecka lot better. . and I just fell in love with his character.. just today I put up two pics *is happy*
Also, I thought the same thing too when i heard the accent.. i thought it was like, British.. but, John Cleese's accent is German.. so, i think it's more German if anything ..lol
BTW, was the series any good... I never saw it. . and I was a bit dissapointed hearing they changed the voice, but does it sound much different, or did they do a good job with that..?
