"Why did... you have to change?"

My homage to one of the greatest mangas I've read in a long time. Loved every bit of it, and that ending... just pure brutal EPICNESS!!! I decided to portray Kaneki Ken's transformation from an innocent boy, to a cold badass, and finally turning into a complete psycho (still undeniably badass though). I really liked the manga, and I thought the first season of the anime was pretty good too. However, I'm afraid that was the farthest I got. The new manga kinda confused my poor little brain with all the new stuff going on, and the second season of the anime completely threw me off with the massive differences in the first episode (I was really looking forward to seeing Ayato getting 'half-killed'). Personally, I hate it when an anime decides to diverge from the story in the manga, especially when the manga has a truly awesome storyline going on (Soul Eater, I'm looking at you). But hey, maybe that's just me. I think I might take another shot at it sometime in the future......maybe.

Anyways, I decided to do another watercolor painting, and I'm pretty happy with this one. Unfortunately, my scanner was acting up, and this was the best quality image that I could manage, while still making sure the colors were all still visible. The hardest part to do was probably getting the skin color just right. Psychologically though, the most torturous part was definitely painting that damn centipede. I hate the little buggers. Everything they do, the way they look, move, even their color, just sends chills up my spine. I'm telling you, those things just aren't natural (for example, there was once this particular ugly mofo that, even after getting blasted with bug spray, and having it's body severed into three parts-head,body,tail (my father was very thorough), still continued to squirm about for 15 whole minutes! If that isn't the work of satan, I don't know what is.)

So anyways, tell me what y'all think! Do you like it? Do you hate it? Is Tokyo Ghoul Re; and Tokyo Ghoul Season 2 worth watching/reading? Are centipedes really the spawn of Satan in disguise? Share your thoughts!
