The "Cars" franchise is widely considered Pixar's weakest franchise. While I wouldn't say I'm a fan of the series, I wouldn't go so far as to say that this is the series that killed Pixar. If one or two mediocre films were enough to ruin Pixar, "A Bug's Life" would have destroyed the studio right there. But, I digress. The one thing you can say about the series is that it has some pretty good characters. Here are five of my favorites.

5. When I heard that the second "Cars" movie was going to be a Spy movie, I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Pixar is known for making great twists on different genres. An office-comedy... With monsters. A prison movie... With living toys. A science fiction film... With a janitor as its main lead. All great ideas. Naturally, I when I heard that Pixar was doing their first spy movie, I got excited! But when I heard that they were going to set it in a world of living vehicles that was already having established itself having nothing to do with spies... Well, that horse has already been beaten enough as it is. However, there was one element of Cars 2 that I really liked: Finn McMissile. Micheal Caine is probably one of the greatest British actors alive today, staring in such films as "The Muppets Christmas Carol" as Scrooge, and Alfred in the "Dark Knight Trilogy", and he did a great job in the role.

4. Mater. You either like him or hate him... I like him.

3. Flo. She's a lot of fun, and for a car, she's kind of sexy.

2. Luigi and Guido. One of them is named after Mario's brother, and the other is really funny.
