12x40 HEAT with a thermal-guidance tip. The newer Model-17 (like the one carried by Mark) fires a 13x56 that hits even harder with better range.

Has to be; defeating the current generation of body-armors requires either a lot of energy (the railgun on the ICWS) or a Munroe-effect munition (the gyro-guns). If you're not wearing armor though...
