Description
A one week old photo of the baby robins outside my house. This shot doesn't have the best composition, but I really like the fact that some of the photo is obscured. It lends to the feeling of secrecy. It's like I'm getting to peer into a world that I don't have any right to see.
I actually have to part the branches to even get a shot that is this clear.
Taken in New Hampshire with my Nikon D3100.

Thanks. I probably took 50 shots to get one that came our right. Because of the angle I really was shooting blind with the camera held over the bush.
I'm really happy with how it finally turned out.

They live right outside of my house, in a bush by the front door. They have all grown up now and flown the nest. Hopefully momma bird will lay more eggs next year.

Thank you. They've actually all left the nest already. I have one more photo of the last bird sitting in the nest. His three siblings flew off and he decided to stay and have the whole nest for himself for a couple of days

They are pretty cute. I don't know how much longer they will be able to all fit into that nest.
