She reminds a bit of Satanna from the devil feel of her design but certainly one fixating character to see in the X-Men universe, hell wonder if Deadpool has met her? ^O^
Besides what anyone could point out a stunning job on the total realism and look of her tail and horns, they got a smiley or glossy look to them to really show they're real and not something like just clipping on cat ears, wow.
Lovely proportion though wagnerf, do I really need to explain why?

Fantastic work as always my friend! I lvoe the perspective, it makes it a really dynamic pic! I love the attention to detail as well, the flecks and scratches on the blade, the stress lines along the tail, god even the shading on the toes is amazing! Well done!

Not a mary-sue self insert. Magik made her first appearance from the "Giant Size X-men" comic when the "All New, All Different X-men" characters were debuting (Storm, Colossus, Sunfire, Banshee, Thunderbird, Wolverine, Nightcrawler). She was nameless at first but Chris Claremont had developed her further after Len Wein stopped writing X-men.

Okay? Just because she's been around for a long time doesn't make her any less of a Mary-Sue. In fact, the actual "Mary-Sue" of legend was from a Star Trek fanfic from the 70's.

One of my favorite characters, I particularly liked the scene of her all demon'ed up in the Inferno story arc with a bunch of little imps putting her through a salon and her freaking out when she sees herself in the mirror. Hehe.
Very fun character. Love your colors and shading.

Me too, I think Blevins work was pretty great even though he didn't know how to draw teenagers (big heads on tiny bodies .. ugh!) Haven't kept up with the character since they brought her back.
