I sure hope youtube personality THE AnimeHero doesn't mind me using his catch phrase, but after re-watching Devilman:Crybaby and I can't help scream DEVILMANLY!!! It just the perfect anime, Aikira Fudo is such a wonderful character, starting off as a timid school boy with a strong sense empathy to a hero that have the body of a demon, but the heart of a human. He's a tragic character yes, but he doesn't come off as emo, he feel sorrow for the unfortunate and is always trying to save people even in a cruel and heartless world. He one of the few anime heroes that doesn't get his happy ending, and its compelling, since Devilman come off as a anti-war message and a cautionary tale about not letting our hatred consume us. And in these troubling time, the message of Devilman ring truer than ever. before We should all strive to make the world better place before it too late. We shouldn't let our difference and belief tear us apart, but rather come together and make a best in this world. At least that what I believe after watching Devilman, so to celebrate Go Nagai work here is a small fan art I decided to put together.
