I decided toΒ make thisΒ comic showing the tragic death and resurrection of Skullgirls very own catgirl Ms. Fortune, as she is violently chop up and thrown to the sea by the notorious Medici Mafia lead by Vitale. I like drawing this comic and hope other out there like it too. Feel free to comment.Thank you for providing me with the dialogue

Ms. Fortune is from a fighting video game series calledΒ Skullgirls, and from what I understand of the story she bounded to a magical artifact called Life Gem, which give her immortality I think. Though don't quote me on it. I am not too familiar with Skullgirls lore.

Thanks! I felt your dialogue really help this comic. I love your idea to give more intensity to Ms. Fortune emotion by making her angry. Most art of her just focus on her happy go lucky nature, without realizing she a pretty tragic character.

This is a really good mini comic. Β However she got chopped up as a child in the original story when the fishbone gang was killed and chopped up too. but ms. fortune swallows the life gem before the medicis come after her..so they kill her and that was it and until then she came back to life like this and then went after vitale.Β

Thank you, I didn't know she was a child when she got chop up, but this comic is my own version of that event and doesn't represent any official cannon. Just something I wanted to do for fun. Though I am you think this mini comic is imaginative.

You did great on the comic! Showing how surprised she was when she first gained this ability, and how she was bent on taking down Vitale at first. Though later on, at least in her story, her motives change for the better.
