Why you dA titles won't like ö!?

You may remember Hönkeln from the fairytale meme, but Enigma should be a new character for you, right? Well, anyway, let me introduce you my two Silkiehunds! ^^ Silkie chicken-Swedish vallhund gryphons.

Hönkeln appeared into my mind last year, during the summer. My mother and I were driving back home from a trip we had, and during that trip I had met two Silkie chickens and as a chicken fan I of course fell in love with those guys! They're soooooo fluffy-looking adorable little things! At the mean time I also had been thinking about getting a dog and as we know well enough, my choice of breed was the Swedish vallhund. Somehow those two things were combined in my mind and there was Hönkeln. A shy and quiet little guy.
Enigma instead wandered into my mind either in the end of last year or in the start of this year, but as she appeared, she was already more dog-like than Hönkeln. It seems that Enigma shall be my nuisance untill the next spring. She has the main role in my degree work. So you'll be seeing more of her later (Edit: Enigma starring Dream of Flying )

So, Enigma and Hönkeln are a sister and a brother. They hatched from genetically manipulated gryphon eggs, fused with the genes of a silkie and a vallhund. Thus, something weird happened in Enigma's case, and she developed to be about 75% vallhund and 25% silkie. Because of having a head of a dog, she wasn't able to break the shell of her egg when she hatched. Their owner who got their eggs had to help Enigma a bit. Because of her outlook she got the name "Enigma".

Hönkeln is the one of them who 'has the brains'. He tries to guide Enigma and give her advices, but Enigma always doesn't quite listen to him. She rather acts than thinks everything thoroughly. Hönkeln also tends to take life pretty relaxedly and enjoys peace and silence. Enigma is about all of the time going somewhere, investigating new places and and wishing to meet new creatures. And if she isn't wandering around she most likely is trying to find a way how she could fly. Flying is her greatest dream.

I have no idea if I was supposed to write anything else here, but at least I can't remember anything more now. And like always, if you have something to ask about these guys, feel free ask it

Oh, yeah, I was also supposed to say that Enigma and Hönkeln have their 'thumbs' on the side of their legs, not on the back side. My friend once had a good point when they said that a gryphon could have lots of troubles walking if they had a finger/toe on the backside of their front legs. I think it's quite true O_o
