Here's a larger picture of the height comparison chart from my descent into madness. Classic Sonic was originally 3'5" (they keep SAYING 3'3" but look at the stupid line he's CLEARLY 3'5"!) and I resized how tall he'd be with the retcon right next to him, it's worth noting he's significantly shorter than classic Tails used to be. I also did the same thing with Eggman, then tacked on how tall Sonic and Eggman would be if it we don't accept the retcon. Take a look at 4'10" Sonic, he's still barely chest high to a 6' tall man so it's not like he isn't a short cartoon animal anymore, and of course he's only waist high to pre-retcon nearly 7 foot tall Eggman.

But of course my real point in all this is to look how short retcon classic Sonic is! He's only 29 inches tall because of that stupid retcon, that's like the size of a LAP DOG, literally, my dog Max used to stand up on his hind legs and be that height and he was a toy poodle, we sell action figures that tall!
