Description
The playmate's TMNT toyline had a lot of flaws that I could go on a several hours long rant about, but its biggest flaw was the characters that didn't get made, including Mona Lisa here who I'm sure most would agree was a pretty important character. Hi! Your creations are amazing! I just wanted to know what kind of paint you use for your creations? I wanted to make one on my own creations too but the paint that you use looks better.

I've used several paints in the past, but my current choice is Folk Art multi-surface acrylic. You have to get the multi-surface type since it doesn't need primer or sealant and looks smoothest when it dries.

no, she's always been a salamander, even in the '87 cartoon. The only female turtles were Venus De Milo from the live action show and Jennika from the IDW comic

Hey Wake mind if I ask you something, first off great work as always my friend. My question regards a figurine I'm making, it's the Dead Hand from Zelda and I am building it up with a armature for the ribcage and spine have you ever done something like that on a build?

an armature? yeah, in fact Mona Lisa's tail used an armature made out of Aluminum foil to help maintain the shape while the material was still soft.

I had a feeling you used them, honestly they have certain framework needed to get details not normally sculptable. In my case the rib cage is supposed to be very prominent and I thought a few thin layers of clay over the armature would do it justice.

yeah that could work, it's best if you need your sculpt to look sharp or if you need something thin and long, like when I made Ridley's face.

Indeed, I am glad I learned the CA glue and Baking Soda trick. The trick is Baking Soda causes liquid CA Super Glue to harden instantly and is a structure better than CA alone. Only downside is you won't have a clear finish it will be cloudy and white. Good for joints you will paint but not good for all external applications.
