Description
Albus Potter was accepted into the Slytherin house and, after a bit of a rough start, became friends with Scorpius Malfoy. The two grew very close over the years, but naturally the wizarding world had trouble accepting the fact that a Slytherin Malfoy was best friends with one of the sons of Harry Potter, savior of the wizarding world and head of the Auror Department in the Ministry of Magic. Always looking for a good story to twist around, the Prophet has always been a bit ruthless, more concerned with getting a reaction from the public than telling the whole truth...Alex Pettyfer as Scorpius Malfoy.
Kevin Flamme as Albus Potter.

Poor Al. I wish Rita would leave him and Scorp alone. But that's just in my fantasies.

This sounds EXACTLY like something you would read in the Daily Prophet.

Whoa. Albus is looking a little intense there. I also like how Scorpius's elegant Slytherin tongue fails him in the face of Daily Prophet reporters.

Unfortunately, Scorpius can have a bit of a temper, particularly when it comes to those he cares about being attacked. And I doubt either of them enjoy being photographed by the Prophet, particularly considering what inevitably comes of it.

I doubt the Prophet is ever going to recover from its days being hijacked by Lors Voldemort. XD

I wish they'd just stay out of people's buisness!

Someone who's more interested in piquing the interest of nosy readers than in the truth, apparently. The failing of much of the media.

One more thing...maybe it was unintentional, or actually a humor device you placed in there, but I find it very amusing that this report that may or may not involve dark arts and a threat to security is placed under the "Celebrities and Entertainment" section of the Prophet.

Aha, that is a bit funny now that you mention it. I suppose it's to the credit of the paper that they do try to pass the article off more as rumour than actual news.

It's very sad to see how the mass media of the wizard world relays information the same way done by muggle journalists. I used to be horrified at the fact that fans actually like placing Albus in Slytherin (despite having been placed in that house by the HP website myself) but it's grown on me. Besides, being a middle child as well, I've come to become a bit more brooding, conniving and ambitious than my older brother. Perhaps Albus would turn out the same way.
Besides, I've always fancied the idea of Albus and Scorpius being best friends while Rose Weasley falls for the young Malfoy while attempting to reconnect with her Slytherin cousin.

I used to like Albus in Gryffindor, probably more because their friendship would be a break in house rivalries than anything else, but him being in Slytherin has grown on me as well. I always saw both of them as being far more ambitious than conniving, trying to live up to/live down their fathers' reputations. And I love their friendship. <3
