tbh, I feel nothing is canon until proven in the show. Including Alya getting the fox kwami. It could be an epic trolling, I doubt it but GF did that and I believed those lies.

That 'epic trolling ' by GF was just one man, the nasty Alex Hirsch who released a fake 'spoiler' onto reddit, and I don't think they'd get away with trolling an entire comic con. But we'll have to wait and see... but personally, I'd put my entire college fund on it BEEing Chloe...

I would've if I had a tv series. I would've shown the most popular theories, headcanons, and slight AUs I could find that didn't spoil anything character defining/world building and watch them all scream. But this is why I don't have a tv series.
