Description
Another Inking sample. This is the character Prophet and that bird looking character standing on his right arm is (or was) the mascot for San Diego Comic Con. I don't see this mascot anymore at SDCC. Today, all I see is an Eyeball for the SDCC logo. Maybe he got replaced. Anyway, this was pencilled by Stephen Platt and inked by myself. I was able to get a photocopy of the pencils, placed a sheet of vellum (tracing paper) on top of it, and ink this piece up. This was one of the last inking samples I've done before I gone into inking professionally. Looking back at this piece, everything I've done was so rough. I see so many areas that I would ink differently if I was to ink this piece today.
